Blurb: No one wants to be this teacher's pet…

The entire school’s talking about the gorgeous new math teacher, Mr Beck. That is, everyone except Kaylee Cavanaugh. After all, Kaylee’s no ordinary high-school junior. She’s a banshee — she screams when someone dies.

But the next scream might be for Kaylee.

Yeah — it’s a shock to her, too. So to distract herself, Kaylee’s going to save every girl in school. Because that hot new teacher is really an incubus who feeds on the desire of unsuspecting students. The only girls immune to his lure are Kaylee and Sabine — her boyfriend’s needy ex-girlfriend. Now the unlikely allies have to get rid of Mr Beck…before he discovers they aren’t quite human, either.

But Kaylee’s borrowed lifeline is nearing its end. And those who care about her will do anything to save her life. Anything

Review:
I swear this series just gets better as you go through the books, but I think that this one is my absolute favourite because of how the events have progressed - Tod, of course! - and I can safely say that I am definitely Team Tod after reading If I Die.
I read this book a few weeks ago and I have read many books in that time so this review isn't going to be the best of my standard.
Anyway, a lot has happened throughout this novel, but the ending truly shocked me, and if I remember correctly I stayed up late to devour every last word to see the outcome.
Tod. You make my heart flutter, and I'm looking forward to reading more of you in Before I Wake :)
Nash, bless him, really did try to get Kaylee back and I adore him for that, but for me, the scars are too deep on Kaylee's heart and he really isn't 'the one' for her.
Anyway, this was a really great read, and I'm eagerly awaiting for the next book to be in my hands, devouring every word again! :)
Also, I read on Rachel Vincent's website that she's contracted to be writing seven books in the Soul Screamers series, is this true because there is only six on Goodreads?
