Blurb: The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate percentage of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance between her and the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend America, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.
Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the charming college co-ed. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his charms, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’ apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match

Review: This is a phenomenal read, after having a night's sleep I still can't put together any words that describe what a phenomenal book this was, and I feel so amazed to have read this. I have been wanting to read this for such a long time and once I got my kindle on Christmas day I didn't hesitate to buy it. After I had read A Beautiful Dark by Jocelyn Davis I didn't know what book to read next, I wanted to read a printed book because I got quite a few for Christmas so I started reading Awake at Dawn by C.C Hunter. But I have to be in the mood to read a book, and I was not in the mood to read Awake at Dawn so I straight away turned to Beautiful Disaster and my gosh, I wish I had a kindle when it first came out to read this, it's too fantastic to put into words and I am not lying to you but I think that this is the best book that I have read this year and from every book that I have ever read and will read. I very highly recommend this book to everyone even if you are not keen on contempory books because I wasn't that sure about them, but after reading Beautiful Disaster I definitely am going to start reaidng more contempory books even though I know that they won't be as good as Beautiful Disaster but I love books that are very realitic and it's so great to get away from paranormal reads too.
This book was so fresh and the story fitted extremely well together, the characters were amazing and they had me crying, laughing and smiling. I sometimes was even feeling for the characters, I have gasped, had butterflies flying frantically around in my stomach. I haven't had so many emotions whilst reading a book!
If I could carry on talking about Beautiful Disaster then believe me, I would, but I don't want to ramble on too much. But I can tell you that this books deserves even more than the overall ratings and this book has lead me to the conclusion that everything in life isn't perfect and you won't get your happily ever after like you do in paranormal books (ignore the supernatural creatures in them!) but to get your happily ever after to you have to jump hurdles and fight for what you believe and never give up. I can definitely see life through a new perspective and respect it so much more. But this book really was a Beautiful Disaster
Eeep!! I LOVED this book when I read it earlier in 2011. This book got my on a roll with more contemporary reads and a bit more racy on the sex side. I could ramble on about this book all day! I am glad you loved it as much as I did. [:
